State & Local Update

Last week, the Colorado Legislature convened a special session to address property taxes. While we were prepared for the possibility of a short-term rental proposal, we are happy to inform you that no such legislation was introduced.

We want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out to legislators and stayed engaged throughout this process. Your readiness to take action is invaluable. We are fortunate to have such an active and passionate STR community, and we deeply appreciate your ongoing support in these crucial matters.

What's Next at the State Level

While this is great news, we anticipate that the upcoming general session will be busy for short-term rentals. Rest assured, we will continue to advocate for your rights and keep you informed about any potential legislation that may arise. Please stay engaged, encourage others to join our cause, and continue to advocate for Estes Valley STRs.

What's Next at the Local Level

We also anticipate the coming months will be active for short-term rentals at the local level. We'll continue to monitor things closely and keep you updated.

The best way to support Estes Valley &

Colorado STRs is to become a member today.
